There are lots of activities and area attractions to suit everyone's taste at Hinsdale Campground. In addition to our onsite activities, there are plenty of things to do in the surrounding area.
On-Site Activities
At the Campground we have swimming, volleyball, softball, basketball, horseshoes and bocce. We'll also be adding a new shuffleboard court in 2004.
On hot days you can cool off in our 30' by 60' swimming pool, while the kids splash around in our kiddie pool.
The children can also play tetherball, go bicycling, or enjoy the swingset and merry-go-round in our secure playground.

Boating, Fishing, Hiking and more!
In addition to activities at the campground, there are many outdoor sporting activities available in the Hinsdale area. Whether you're into hiking, cycling, boating, fishing, golf, tennis, or aerobics, there's plenty to keep you busy. With the Connecticut River, 2 state parks, 3 golf courses, tennis courts and a fitness center nearby, there are lots of options for exercise and physical activity.

Restaurants and Shopping
You'll find many great restaurants and interesting places to shop throughout the area. Hinsdale, Brattleboro and Keene offer plenty of options for eating out, from easy going, casual meals to fine dining.
Shoppers can explore retail shops and designer outlets for everything from antiques, candles and crafts, to famous brand clothing and furnishings.

Family Adventures
If you're traveling with kids, you'll find lots of possibilities for family outings. Nearby fun parks and theme parks offer all kinds of rides, games, and activities, from encounters with farm animals and outdoor sporting adventures to laser tag and year-round visits with Santa.

There are many opportunities for entertainment both here in Hinsdale and in the neighboring communities of Brattleboro, Keene, and Putney.
The Hinsdale Greyhound Park, a nearby racetrack and restaurant, is extremely popular with campers.
There are movies, theater productions, live music performances and other cultural activities throughout the area, and all season long you'll find special events, festivals and celebrations that are great fun for everyone.
